Vault 7: CIA Hacking Tools Revealed



Today, WikiLeaks has release a huge amount of files that appear to be CIA spying secrets.



According to Julian Assange, the documents are the most comprehensive release of US spying files ever released to the public, and contains far more information than the Snowden files.

For now 8,761 documents have been released, but this is just the first of a series of “Vault 7” leaks.

According to the documents, the CIA has software that could allow people to take control of the most popular consumer electronics products used today, this includes malware and dozens of “zero day” weaponized exploits against a wide range of U.S. and European company products, include Apple’s iPhone, Google’s Android and Microsoft’s Windows and even Samsung TVs, which are turned into covert microphones.
